The Namibian Police and Windhoek City Police had to go for their service pistols after a crowd of around a 100 start to throw them with stones and other objects after they demolished an illegal structure in the informal settlement. The owner had no problems when workers from the CoW started to dismantle the structure, but the other residents had other ideas, and took the law into their own hands. Around 7 people were arrested while several cars of the City Police were damaged.
