Body of German adventurist found after he allegedly drowned in the Kunene River. More to Follow soon.


The body of a 39 German adventurist found. The man was part of a group rafting on the Kunene when he went missing last week Thursday during an adventure activity on the river. The experienced adventurist went missing after the vessel capsized. The Namibian  Police, members of the community and various tour operators started with a search and rescue operation shortly after the incident. It was reported the body of the man was found yesterday morning around nine. The deceased was found about a kilometer on the river bank from where the accident took place. 

His name will be released once his relatives in Germany are informed. The German Embassy in Windhoek meanwhile started with arrangements to return his body to his home country. Investigations into the accident continue.
