Cape Town, Table Mountain is confirmed as a Natural Wonder. The Mountain is now one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Nature. This news came after confirmed by the New7Wonders Foundation based in Switzerland. Table Mountain is a sandstone plateau and rises at it's highest point to a 1085 meters. The flat top, similar to a table's surface gave name to the mountain, therefor "Table Mountain" It is home to about 1470 plant species.
