Expecting mothers camp outside hospital awaiting the birth of their children

Hundreds of mothers camp outside state health facilities waiting for the right time to deliver their babies.  although various agencies like UNFPA contribute one way or the other to alleviate the problem, it remains the sole responsibility of the government to address the issue. The hospital at Outapi in the Omusati region is such a facility where hundreds of women - some on their last  waiting outside the hospital -without any facilities and exposed to all the elements. Namibia press travelled to the region.
