Education remains a priority for Namibian Government. However for many, specially those in rural areas, quality pre primary education is not an option as many rural areas have to improvise to look after youngsters preparing them for primary, and eventually for secondary education.

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare is responsible for the improvement and equitable access to early Childhood programs in Namibia. In order to achieve this the ministry constructed a basic Kindergarten consisting of one classroom and ablution facilities in Groot Aub south of Windhoek.
