COPPS 94.1 offered enough action for one night to make one realize what our officers had to face every day of their lives.

COPPS 94.1 ensured enough scenes and action to make one understand the circumstances under which our members of the City Police and Namibian Police must operate to ensure our city is a better place for all. To start of it was not all about crime and policing, but the City Police assist the Round Table Welwitchia 1 & 2 chapter in handing out blankets and soup to the city's homeless. The cold facts are there are those wandering the streets in search for food or warm clothes or even a proper place to sleep. Although the cup of soup might be something small or the blankets are not imported, but that little hand out means a lot to those people.  And again crime played a role in the city with one case of robbery that was reported to the City Police. The incident took place in the Suiderhof suburb after a group of around six men robbed an old man of his wallet and cellular phone, while three incidents were reported of taxis involved in crashing into houses across the city. The first incident was reported in Havana informal settlement after a taxi driver lost control and crashed into a shack ( kambashu) while the second case was reported in Khomasdal after a taxi driver also burst  through a boundary wall, and the last case was in Katutura whereby a taxi driver also ended up in another yard after speeding. In all three cases driving under the influence is not excluded. COPPS 94.1 is a joint venture between Kosmos 94.1 and the Windhoek City Police.
