Eenhana has become the second town, after Engela, to benefit an initiative by the United Nations Population Fund, that sees pregnant women having easier access to healthcare facilities. Maternity Waiting Homes as they are called are a good strategy for bridging the gap in accessing maternal and ante-natal health services.
