A bright idea by a few women with the support of the CPP in Namibia can soon change the way thousands of women cook their meals on an open fire.

Millions of Africans are cooking their food on open fires as it is the custom for thousands of years. Although it is a culture to prepare food outside,  times changed and as the world's population grew so did the pressure on natural resources increased. This was reason enough for international scientists and environmentalists to start looking at alternative methods for women preparing their meals. Back home the Ministry of Environment through some of it's development partners like the Country Pilot Partnership started looking at affordable and effective ways to preserve our natural resources.
