Is a presidential inquiry into the high death toll on our roads long overdue?

Is a presidential inquiry needed into the status of Namibia's road safety? Too many people die on our roads annually. Namibia Traffic Management Solutions NTMS a privately owned institution will hold a media briefing today on the current obstacles why Namibia keep on loosing valuable lives every day.

Reality is that more than one person WILL die on the road every day. The question is Who will DIE next?

According to the MVAF of Namibia this year alone 359 people died in 2111 accidents and 3622 injured. This is not good. Who is at fault, drivers? authorities? or both?
