Small scale farmers in the Ohangwena region saw more than guinea fowls, they see a farming activity, a way of generating an income and a way to improve their own way of living.

The creation of employment stretches further than just earning an income. Job creation means education, being taken up in the mainstream economy, poverty alleviation and food security. The latter can be prioritized as one of the most important as a nation needs to be fed in order for it to contribute to its economic growth and wealth of the motherland. And who would ever thought that farming with guinea fowls could make a difference in the lives of small scale farmers.
