Northern Cattle farmers are better off after they received Auction Kraals. Although they can present their cattle on a bigger platform, they still need a long way to go before getting on par with their mostly white Commercial cattle farmers.

Agriculture provides thousands of direct an indirect job opportunities, while an estimate more than 70 percent of all Namibians are depended on land. The northern parts of Namibia specially above the veterinary line are heavily dependent on land as most of the resident's only means of income is from  small scale farming.
