Windhoek City Police arrested a man entrusted by his company to secure their customers property.

Windhoek City Police arrested a security guard from G4S after he stole some electronic and other valuables from a client's house in Windhoek over the weekend. The man in his early 20's was arrested after he sold a laptop to the owner of a bar in Katutura. The man who will appear in court tomorrow claimed he borrowed money from a friend to assist his dad who he claim was sick in Okahandja. The young man regret his actions and said if he could rewind the situation he would have never stole the property. The G4S man is in the employment of the company for less than 6 months. This raise the question, if you cannot trust those who you trust to look after your property then what is the next option? Scary is all I can say. Windhoek City Police booked the man at the Windhoek holding cells and investigations into the case continue.
