World population day is an initiative from the UNFPA and celebrated across the globe. UNFPA is a United Nations organization that works on population and development issues with the emphasis on reproductive health and gender equality. Namibia is no exception as the UNFPA works hand in hand with the health Ministry regarding it's mandate, reproductive health and gender equality.
