Namibian Environment ministry to take stock of past ten years on our Biodiversity strategy while the crystal ball will be consulted for the next ten years.

Since Namibia's independence in 1990 government has emphasized the importance of conservation and inclusive tourism. The intertwining of environmental and developmental issues is pivotal for all Namibians as this means economic growth. The government is of the stance that once good resource management kicks in, ownership of natural resources will benefit all those involved.
