Too many Namibians are caught in the web of drugs and other substances, as a result the health ministry embarked on a campaign to make more people aware of the dangers drugs pose to their health, their families and the country. Shortly after the interview with health minister Dr. Richard Kamwi on illicit substances the Namibian Police confiscated about 280 kilograms of dagga on a truck from South Africa.
