Who would ever thought that a small hot tasting pod called "chili" would deter a jumbo. Even more the will to deter elephants to protect crop farmers in Namibia's North eastern Caprivi region forced subsistence farmers to look for alternative crops to protect their farming projects, and secondly generate an income without disturb the ecological system in the region.
